Viktor Papazchev is the social media manager & production assistant of the Dutch Guitar Foundation and is currently in the final year of his Bachelor’s studies at the Prins Claus Conservatorium with Kristina Vårlid. The classical guitar became a part of his life at the age of twelve and his path as a professional classical musician began just about four years ago, when he applied for the Groningen guitar class. Throughout his relatively short journey in the world of classical music, he explored and developed practical skills in a plethora of disciplines spanning from contextual historic music analysis and conducting to orchestral arranging & polyphonic composition. His endeavors as an instrumentalist include a performance with a classical guitar orchestra for the Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony of Manuel Barrueco (Koblenz International Guitar Festival 2024), participation in the 2024 Kurt Weill Orchestra Project “Modern Classics” and a first prize in the ExpoLive Competition of the 2023 Groningen Guitar Festival among numerous other public performances. He is also experienced in the field of concert production: helping promote, organize, record and execute a vast number of live concerts.
Viktor finds the concept of immersion fascinating and keeps himself deeply engaged in all his work by paying extensive attention to detail and awareness in the strive to create an immersive atmosphere.
