The 25-year-old Portuguese guitarist, Francisco Luis, is considered one of the most acclaimed guitarists of his generation. He has won twenty first prizes at various international competitions, including the first prize at the Groningen Guitar Competition in 2023. He has performed in more than ten European countries and made his debut across the ocean last year, where he performed and taught at the famous international guitar festival in Saltillo, Mexico. His performing skills, but especially his lived interpretation of a very diverse repertoire, never fail to move his audience. An older, renowned fellow guitarist described him as a musician with a rare natural talent to perform any music with a touching sense of inevitability and naturalness.
