Toon Rosiers

Toon Rosiers began playing the guitar at the age of eleven and took his first musical steps at the academy of Bornem under the guidance of Ward Pauwels. His passion for the classical guitar later led him to the Lemmensinstituut (KSO), where he completed his secondary music education in the class of Aram Van Ballaert.
He continued his studies at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent, where he studied with Maarten Vandenbemden and Luca Isolani, and graduated with distinction from the Bachelor’s programme. He is currently pursuing further studies at the Prins Claus Conservatorium, where he studies with Kristina Varlid.
Toon has successfully participated in several guitar competitions in the junior category, including the Antwerpen Gitaarfestival and the Guimarães Guitar Festival in Portugal, where he received an honorary mention. In 2024, he was also a finalist at the Baltic Guitar Festival.
He has also taken part in masterclasses with renowned guitarists such as Marcin Dylla, Antigoni Goni, Raphaella Smits, Zoran Dukic, Pavel Steidl, Lovro Peretic, Nejc Kuhar, Jan Depreter, and many others, further deepening his musicality and technical development.
